A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of the University of Dhaka (DU) and the Ernst & Young LLP (EY), a business management consultant firm in Gurgaon, India was signed August 10, 2017 at the Treasurer’s office of DU to implement “Middle Management Training Program”.  DU Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin and EY Project Director Bidyut Kanti Thakur signed the MoU on behalf of their respective side.

Joint Secretary of ICT Division Sarkar Abul Kalam Azad, Director of IBA Prof. Dr. A K M Saiful Majid, Associate Professors Sheikh Morshed Jahan, Dr. Md. Ridwanul Haq and Acting Registrar Md. Enamuzzaman were present, among others, on this occasion.    

According to the MoU, IBA of DU and EY, India will work together for accomplishment of “Middle Management Training Program”. EY, India will provide technical expertise and financial assistance in this regard.  IBA will issue certificates to all successful participants of the program. It may be mentioned that Bangladesh Computer Council of ICT Division, the Ministry of Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology has introduced a project titled “Middle Management Training Program” for the development of  IT industry in the country. After the end of this project, IBA will sustainably offer the program titled “Advanced Certificate for Management Professionals” at the university.
